The purpose of this assignment was to actively engage with the process of the creation of a 3D Computer Generated Imagery scene.

I had generated a narrative and and an aethetic approach for my 3D virtual scene. This project highlights my application towards AutoDesk Maya and 3D modeling fundementals. The video was edited and composited through Adobe after effects to add an old camera filter, creating an eerie and sombre effect.

The somberly narrative involves an abandoned library that had been "taken over" by nature, evident through the broken structures held together by the roots. Books emerge from the centerpiece,  a whimsical tree that situates at the back of the room and a glow envelops the enviornment through the warmth of the natural lighting and candles.
